MOUNT VERNON, Wash. (AP) - Authorities are investigating the death of Mount Vernon man who died after an apparent fight.
The Skagit Valley Herald reported Wednesday that the 32-year-old man was found unresponsive at his home on April 27.
Skagit County Sheriff’s Office Chief of Patrol Chad Clark says the man was eventually taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle where he remained unconscious until his death on Sunday.
Clark says family members told investigators the man had been in a physical altercation with a co-worker west of Mount Vernon on April 26.
After the altercation, another co-worker took the man home.
Clark says no arrests have been made.
