CENTRAL

AUSTIN: Water stained; 65-72 degrees; 0.79 feet low. Black bass are fair to good on chatterbaits, on Texas rigs and weightless watermelon/red flukes. Sunfish are fair on cut nightcrawlers. Catfish are good on live bait and nightcrawlers.

BASTROP: Water stained; 76-80 degrees. Black bass are slow. Crappie are fair on minnows and white tube jigs. Channel and blue catfish are good on live bait, frozen shrimp, liver, and bloodbait. Yellow catfish are slow.

BELTON: Water stained; 74-78 degrees; 1.99 feet low. Black bass are good on Rat-L-Traps and spinnerbaits. Hybrid striper are fair on live shad. White bass are fair on minnows. Crappie are fair on minnows under lights at night. Channel and blue catfish are good on shrimp and stinkbait. Yellow catfish are fair on trotlines and throwlines baited with live perch.



BROWNWOOD: Water stained; 74-78 degrees; 4.18 feet low. Black bass are very good on black/blue and chartreuse/white chatterbaits, and craw or shad colored crankbaits. White bass are good on minnows and pink tube jigs off lighted docks at night. Crappie are good on minnows and Li’l Fishies. Channel and blue catfish are slow. Yellow catfish are slow.

BUCHANAN: Water stained; 76-80 degrees; 2.02 feet low. Black bass are good on white/chartreuse spinnerbaits, pumpkin/chartreuse-tailed Whacky Sticks, and soft jerkbaits in 4-12 feet. Striped bass are good vertically jigging silver Perk Minnows in 25-35 feet. White bass are good on Bleeding Shiner Tiny Traps and live minnows in 15-25 feet. Crappie are fair on live minnows. Channel catfish are good on live bait. Yellow and blue catfish are good on juglines baited with live bait.

CANYON LAKE: Water stained; 75-79 degrees; 3.54 feet low. Black bass are good on jerkbaits, white Terminator spinnerbaits, and pumpkin Whacky Sticks in 4-10 feet. Striped bass are slow. White bass are slow. Smallmouth bass are good on smoke/red tubes and root beer curl tail grubs on ledges in 10-25 feet. Crappie are fair on live minnows upriver in 5-15 feet. Channel catfish are fair upriver. Yellow and blue catfish are good on juglines.

COLEMAN: Water stained; 73-77 degrees; 2.90 feet low. Black bass are fair on soft plastic lizards, crankbaits, jerkbaits, and electric blue worms. Hybrid striper are slow. Crappie are slow. Channel catfish are slow. Yellow catfish are slow.

COLORADO RIVER: (At Colorado Bend State Park) No report available.

FAYETTE: Water murky. Black bass are good on watermelon red Wacky Worms and Senkos, and on pumpkinseed worms. Channel and blue catfish are fair on cut shad and shrimp over baited holes.

GRANBURY: Water stained; 74-78 degrees; 0.28 feet low. Black bass are fair on chartreuse/white soft plastic worms. Striped bass are slow. White bass are fair on Charlie slabs and pet spoons. Crappie are fair on minnows and blue tube jigs. Catfish are fair on shrimp and stinkbait.

GRANGER: Water stained; 75-79 degrees; 0.55 feet high. Black bass are fair on white spinnerbaits. White bass are fair on watermelon soft plastics and crankbaits. Crappie are good on minnows in 4-10 feet. Blue catfish are good on shad. Yellow catfish are fair on live bait.

LBJ: Water stained; 77-81 degrees; 0.68 feet low. Black bass are good on blue/white spinnerbaits, watermelon Whacky Sticks, and green pumpkin soft plastic jerkbaits. Striped bass are fair on Spoiler Shads early. White bass are fair on Spoiler Shads and chrome/blue Tiny Traps early. Crappie are good on blue tube jigs and live minnows. Channel catfish are good on live bait. Yellow and blue catfish are good on trotlines.

NAVARRO MILLS: Water stained; 73-77 degrees; 2.72 feet high. Black bass are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Channel catfish are slow. Blue catfish are slow. Yellow catfish are slow.

PROCTOR: Water murky; 74-78 degrees; 2.18 feet low. Black bass are good on green pumpkin Rat-L-Traps and crankbaits. Striped bass are slow. White bass are fair on Li’l Fishies. Crappie are slow. Channel and blue catfish are fair on shrimp and shad. Yellow catfish are slow.

SOMERVILLE: Water murky; 75-79 degrees; 0.23 feet high. Black bass are slow. Hybrid striper are good on white striper jigs. White bass are good on minnows. Crappie are slow. Channel and blue catfish are good on shrimp and stinkbait. Yellow catfish are slow.

STILLHOUSE HOLLOW: Water murky; 73-77 degrees; 4.32 feet low. Black bass are good on pumpkinseed soft plastics and spinnerbaits. White bass are slow. Crappie are good on minnows and white tube jigs. Channel and blue catfish are fair on live bait. Yellow catfish are slow.

TRAVIS: Water stained; 74-78 degrees; 13.41 feet low. Black bass are good on smoke grubs and Baby Brush Hogs. Striped bass are slow. White bass are fair on chrome crankbaits and minnows in 10-20 feet. Crappie are good on minnows in 10-20 feet. Channel and blue catfish are slow. Yellow catfish are slow.

WALTER E. LONG: Water murky. Black bass are fair on watermelon crankbaits and spinnerbaits. Hybrid striper are slow. White bass are good on slabs and soft plastics. Crappie are fair on minnows. Channel and blue catfish are good on stinkbait and nightcrawlers. Yellow catfish are slow.

WHITNEY: Water stained; 72-76 degrees; 1.47 feet low. Black bass are good on watermelon red Texas rigged soft plastics and crankbaits. Striped bass are fair on white/green striper jigs. White bass are fair on minnows and Li’l Fishies. Crappie are good on minnows and blue tube jigs. Catfish are good on stinkbait and cheesebait.

NORTHEAST

ATHENS: Water lightly stained; 70-74 degrees; 0.21 feet high. Black bass are good on swim jigs, hollow body frogs and buzzbaits. Crappie are good on minnows. Catfish are fair on trotlines and prepared bait.

BENBROOK: Water stained; 69-72 degrees; 0.24 feet high. Black bass are fair on shakyhead worms, squarebill crankbaits and Texas rigged creature baits. Crappie are good on minnows. White bass are good on slabs. Catfish are good on trotlines.

BOB SANDLIN: Water stained; 71-74 degrees; 0.34 feet high. Black bass are good on Texas rigged creature baits, buzzbaits and Yellow Magic poppers. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs. White bass are good on minnows. Catfish are fair on trotlines.

BONHAM: Water stained; 68-72 degrees; 0.08 feet low. Black bass are good on Senkos, hollow body frogs, jigs and buzzbaits. Crappie are good on bridges on minnows and jigs. Catfish are good along creek channel on jug lines and cut bait.

BRIDGEPORT: Water lightly stained to stained, 68-71 degrees: 0.80 feet low. Black bass are good on shallow crankbaits, topwater poppers and Texas rigged craws. Crappie are good on minnows. White bass are good on slabs and minnows. Hybrid striper are good on slabs and minnows. Catfish are fair on trotlines.

CADDO: Water stained to muddy; 71-75 degrees; 1.10 feet high. Black bass are fair on Texas rigged Senkos, hollow body frogs and black buzzbaits. Crappie are good on minnows. Catfish are good on trotlines and prepared bait.

CEDAR CREEK: Water stained to lightly stained; 68-71 degrees; 0.11 feet high. Black bass are fair on Texas rigged craws, spinnerbaits, topwater poppers and white buzzbaits. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs. Catfish are good on trotlines. White bass are good on slabs and minnows. Hybrid striper are good on slabs and minnows

COOPER: Water stained; 72-74 degrees; 0.25 feet low. Black bass are fair on buzzbaits, weightless Senkos and Texas rigged worms. Crappie are good on minnows. Hybrid striper and white bass are fair on slabs.

EAGLE MOUNTAIN: Water lightly stained; 68-71 degrees; 0.25 feet high. Black bass are good on squarebill crankbaits, spinnerbaits and shakyhead worms. Crappie are fair on minnows. Catfish are fair on trotlines and prepared bait.

FAIRFIELD: Water lightly stained. Black bass are fair on buzzbaits, topwater walking baits and Texas rigged creature baits. No report on other species.

FORK: Water lightly stained to stained; 69-73 degrees; 0.41 feet low. Black bass are fair on buzzbaits, squarebill crankbaits and hollow body frogs. White and yellow bass are good on slabs. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs. Catfish are good on trotlines and prepared bait.

GRAPEVINE: Water stained to lightly stained; 68-71 degrees; 0.80 feet high. Black bass are good on shallow crankbaits, Texas rigged craws and spinnerbaits. White bass and hybrid bass are good on minnows. Crappie are fair on minnows. Catfish are good on trotlines and cut shad.

SOUTH

AMISTAD: Water murky; 78-82 degrees; 28.99 feet low. Black bass are good on crankbaits, jerkbaits, soft plastics, spinnerbaits, and swimbaits. Striped bass are fair on slabs, jigging spoons, and live minnows. White bass are fair on slabs, jigging spoons, and live minnows. Crappie are fair on live minnows. Catfish are fair on cheesebait, shrimp, and nightcrawlers over baited holes. Yellow catfish are fair on trotlines and droplines baited with live perch. Everyone in a boat must have a Mexico fishing license (if fishing the Mexico side) whether fishing or not.

BRAUNIG: Water murky. Black bass are slow. Striped bass are fair on liver and perch. Redfish are slow. Channel and blue catfish are good on shrimp, cheesebait, cut bait, and liver. Yellow catfish are slow.

CALAVERAS: Water murky. Black bass are slow. Striped bass are good on spoons and striper jigs near the dam. Redfish are slow. Channel and blue catfish are fair on liver, shrimp, cheesebait, and shad. Yellow catfish are slow.

CHOKE CANYON: Water stained; 76-80 degrees; 25.82 feet low. Black bass are good on chartreuse/white spinnerbaits, crankbaits, and Carolina rigged soft plastics. White bass are fair on Li’l Fishies. Crappie are good on minnow tipped jigs. Drum are slow. Channel and blue catfish are fair on stinkbait in 10-15 feet. Yellow catfish are fair on trotlines baited with live perch.

COLETO CREEK: Water clear; 98 degrees at the hot water discharge, 79 degrees in main lake; 1.93 feet low. Black bass are fair on watermelon soft plastics and crankbaits in 6-8 feet. White bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Channel and blue catfish are fair on live perch in 10-12 feet. Yellow catfish are slow.

CORPUS CHRISTI LAKE: Water off color; 74-78 degrees; 2.19 feet low. Black bass are good on Texas rigs, shakyheads and red Rat-L-Traps. White bass are fair to good on Little Georges. Crappie are fair to good on minnows and jigs. Catfish are fair to good on nightcrawlers and live shad.

FALCON: Water murky; 77-81 degrees; 29.72 feet low. Black bass are good on spinnerbaits, crankbaits, and Yum Dingers. Striped bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Channel and blue catfish are good on frozen shrimp, shad, and cut bait under cormorants. Yellow catfish are slow. TEXANA: Water stained; 73-79 degrees; 3.32 feet low. Black bass are fair to good on small swimbaits, Texas rig and shallow running crankbaits. Crappie are fair on live minnows. Catfish are fair to good on nightcrawlers and cut bait.

SOUTHEAST

CONROE: Water stained; 74-78 degrees; 0.03 feet low. Black bass are good on watermelon red Carolina and Texas rigged soft plastics, spinnerbaits, and Rat-L-Traps. Striped bass are fair on silver slabs. Crappie are fair on minnows and green tube jigs. Catfish are good on stinkbait, liver, and cheesebait.

GIBBONS CREEK: Water stained. Black bass are good on pumpkinseed crankbaits, spinnerbaits, and Rat-L-Traps. Crappie are good on minnows and white tube jigs. Catfish are fair on nightcrawlers and shrimp.

HOUSTON COUNTY: Water stained; 75-79 degrees; 0.10 feet high. Black bass to 7 pounds are good on dark purple/blue metal flake soft plastic worms in 5-7 feet. Crappie are good on live minnows and tube jigs over brush piles. Bream are good on live worms off piers. Channel and blue catfish are good on live worms and processed bait off piers, and on juglines baited with perch or shad. Yellow catfish are slow.

LIVINGSTON: Water stained; 76-80 degrees; 0.25 feet high. Black bass are good on buzzbaits, spinnerbaits, and soft plastics. Striped bass are slow. White bass are good on minnows, soft plastics, and spec rigs. Crappie are fair on minnows and blue tube jigs. Blue catfish are good on shad. Yellow catfish are slow.

SAM RAYBURN: Water stained; 75-79 degrees; 0.29 feet high. Black bass are good on watermelon red Trick Worms, Senkos, and Carolina rigged soft plastics on main lake flats. White bass are slow. Crappie are fair on live shiners and black/chartreuse roadrunners over hydrilla in 6-10 feet. Catfish are good on juglines baited with prepared bait.

STEINHAGEN: 1.54 feet high. No report available.

TOLEDO BEND: Water stained; 73-77 degrees; 1.23 feet low. Black bass are good on chartreuse/blue spinnerbaits and shallow running crankbaits around hydrilla beds. Striped bass are slow. White bass are fair on minnows. Crappie are good trolling black/chartreuse jigs over hydrilla beds. Bream are fair on worms. Channel and blue catfish are slow. Yellow catfish are slow.

PANHANDLE

GREENBELT: Water off color; 74-78 degrees; 33.14 feet low. Black bass are fair on pearl shallow running crankbaits, Texas rigs and shakyheads. Crappie are fair on live minnows and jigs. Catfish are fair to good on live and cut bait.

MACKENZIE: Water stained; 73-79 degrees; 75.26 feet low. Black bass are fair on Texas rigs and shallow running crankbaits. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs around structure. Catfish are fair to good on nightcrawlers and live baitfish.

MEREDITH: Water fairly clear; 72-78 degrees; 48.25 feet low. No reports on black bass. No reports of smallmouth bass or walleye. Bream and channel catfish are being caught in limited numbers.

WEST

ALAN HENRY: Water clear main lake, stained up the river; 71 degrees main lake, 75 up the creeks; 7.37 feet low. Black bass are fair on topwaters, weightless flukes, shakyheads with trick worms, Senkos and chatterbaits. Crappie are slow on minnows. Catfish are slow on live perch and live worms.

ARROWHEAD: Water fairly clear; 71-79 degrees; 1.62 feet low. Black bass are fair on jigs, Texas rigs and chrome Rat-L-Traps. Crappie are fair on live minnows. Catfish are fair to good on cut bait and nightcrawlers.

COLORADO CITY: 16.49 feet low. After a period of drought, this lake caught water and boating is now allowed. However, it is not currently recommended for fishing due to severe golden alga blooms.

FORT PHANTOM HILL: Water off color; 73-79 degrees; 2.84 feet low. Black bass are fair to good on silver spinnerbaits, Texas rigs and jigs. Crappie are fair on live minnows. Catfish are good on live and cut bait.

HUBBARD CREEK: Water off color; 73-78 degrees; 3.8 feet low. Black bass are fair on white/chartreuse spinnerbaits, Texas rigs and weightless Senkos. Crappie are fair on live minnows. Catfish are good on live and cut bait.

NASWORTHY: 72-80 degrees; 1.12 feet low. Black bass are fair on watermelon seed jigs, Texas rigs and red Rat-L-Traps. No reports on crappie. Catfish are fair to good on live bait and nightcrawlers.

OAK CREEK: Water stained; 75-83 degrees; 11.69 feet low. Black bass are fair to good on Texas rigs, Senkos and orange/brown crankbaits. Crappie are fair on live minnows. Catfish are fair to good on live and cut bait.

O.H. IVIE: Water stained; 73-81 degrees; 39.77 feet low. Black bass are fair on split-shot rigged flukes, Texas rigs and chad pattern crankbaits. Crappie are fair to good on live minnows. Catfish are good on cut and live bait.

POSSUM KINGDOM: Water fairly clear; 74-82 degrees; 1.27 feet low. Black bass are fair to good on drop shot rigs, Texas rigs and chrome Rat-L-Traps. Crappie are fair on live minnow. White bass are fair to good on slabs. Striped bass are fair on live shad. Catfish are good on live and cut bait.

SPENCE: 52.55 feet low. No report on black bass. No report on crappie. Catfish are fair on live bait, cut bait and nightcrawlers.

STAMFORD: Water stained to muddy; 72-77 degrees; 1.59 feet low. Black bass are fair to good on small swimbaits, Texas rigs and shallow running crankbaits. Crappie are fair on jigs and live minnows. White bass are fair on slabs and tail spinners. Blue catfish are good on cut and live bait.

SWEETWATER: Water off color; 73-79 degrees; 25.1 feet low. This lake is currently experiencing a fish kill due to golden alga. Biologists are monitoring the situation and will post updates as they become available.

WHITE RIVER: Water stained; 72-78 degrees; 23.06 feet low. Black bass are fair on chatterbaits and Texas rigs. No reports on crappie. Catfish are good on live bait.

COASTAL

NORTH SABINE: Trout are fair to good on the Louisiana shoreline on topwaters and Corkies. Flounder are fair on jigs tipped with shrimp around marsh drains. Redfish are good in the marsh on topwaters and spoons.

SOUTH SABINE: Trout are fair to good over shell in 3-4 feet of water. Sheepshead and black drum are good at the jetty on live shrimp. Trout are fair to good around Lighthouse Cove on topwaters.

BOLIVAR: Trout are fair to good on the south shoreline on Bass Assassins, Gamblers and Gulps. Black drum, sand trout and redfish are good at Rollover Pass on live shrimp.

TRINITY BAY: Redfish are fair to good in the marsh on shrimp on the outgoing tide. Trout are good for drifters working pods of shad over deep shell.

EAST GALVESTON BAY: Trout are fair to good on the south shoreline on She Dogs, MirrOlures and Soft-Dines. Whiting and sand trout are good on the edge of the Intracoastal on fresh shrimp. Redfish are fair in the marsh around points on shrimp and Gulps.

WEST GALVESTON BAY: Sheepshead, redfish and black drum are good at the jetty on shrimp and crabs. Trout are fair to good at the jetty on live bait when the wind allows. Trout are fair for waders in the afternoon on topwaters.

TEXAS CITY: Trout are fair to good on Dollar Reef on live shrimp. Redfish are fair in Moses Lake on mullet and shrimp.

FREEPORT: Trout are fair to good at San Luis Pass on shrimp. Sand trout and sheepshead are good on live shrimp on the reefs in Christmas Bay. Trout and redfish are fair at the jetties on live shrimp and finger mullet.

EAST MATAGORDA BAY: Trout are fair for drifters on live shrimp over humps and scattered shell. Redfish are fair to good on the edge of the Intracoastal on crabs and mullet.

WEST MATAGORDA BAY: Redfish are fair to good on the edge of Oyster Lake on shrimp and crabs. Trout are fair on shell and grass on soft plastics. Redfish and black drum are fair to good at Shell Island on live shrimp.

PORT O’CONNOR: Trout and redfish are good on topwaters over sand and grass in the guts in San Antonio Bay. Trout and redfish are fair for drifters working the back lakes with live shrimp.

ROCKPORT: Trout are fair to good in the guts and channels on free-lined shrimp. Trout are fair over grass while drifting with live shrimp. Redfish are good on the Estes Flats on shrimp and Gulps.

PORT ARANSAS: Redfish are fair to good at East Flats and around Dagger Island on shrimp and crabs. Trout, redfish and sheepshead are fair to good at the jetty on shrimp.

CORPUS CHRISTI: Trout are fair to good on the edge of the spoils on Gulps and live shrimp. Redfish are good in the potholes on shrimp. Trout are good for drifters working live shrimp under a popping cork over sand and grass.

BAFFIN BAY: Trout are good at night in the Land Cut on live shrimp. Redfish are fair to good in the grass on the King Ranch shoreline on small topwaters.

PORT MANSFIELD: Trout are good on topwaters around sand and grass at Green Island and the Saucer. Redfish are fair to good while drifting pot holes and while anchored with natural baits at East Cut.

SOUTH PADRE: Trout are fair to good for waders around the spoil island on DOA Shrimp and live shrimp. Redfish are fair while drifting sand and grass on Gulps and live shrimp under a popping cork.

PORT ISABEL: Trout and redfish are fair to good on the flats on live shrimp. Redfish are fair to good in South Bay on topwaters.
