LUTZ, Fla. (AP) - A Florida woman has been arrested in the death of her toddler who drowned in a pool.

Thirty-year-old Caitlin Powell was charged Tuesday with aggravated manslaughter of a child. Citing a Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office arrest report, The Tampa Bay Times says Powell’s child crept through an unsecured door, fell into the pool and drowned. It says Powell failed to properly secure the pool and left two children unattended for hours.

It says Powell mixed prescribed morphine and alcohol at her bartending job on March 10. She woke up twice the next morning to change her two 3-year-old children’s diapers, but went back to sleep. Around noon, one the children woke Powell and told her the other child was in the pool.

Powell posted bail. The Times couldn’t reach her.
