SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) - Bond has been reduced for a Sioux Falls woman charged with manslaughter in the death of her boyfriend.

Second Circuit Court Judge Susan Sabers lowered bond Wednesday from $200,000 cash to $100,000 cash or surety for Jayme Kae Knudson. The defendant is accused of leaving her injured boyfriend in the street after he climbed on the hood of her car during an argument and fell off as she drove away.

The Argus Leader reports Sabers says she doesn’t think Knudson is a flight risk because of her lack of a criminal record and her ties to the community. Forty-six-year-old Erik Lunstra died of injuries he suffered in the September hit-and-run.
