President Trump said Florida ballots are “massively infected” as a statewide recount is underway Monday.

“The Florida Election should be called in favor of Rick Scott and Ron DeSantis in that large numbers of new ballots showed up out of nowhere, and many ballots are missing or forged,” Mr. Trump tweeted. “An honest vote count is no longer possible-ballots massively infected. Must go with Election Night!”

The Florida senatorial and gubernatorial races have been fraught with allegations of voter fraud as the results were dragged out nearly a week. Democratic candidates Sen. Bill Nelson and Tallahassee Mayor Andrew Gillum argue that they merely want every vote counted, while the Republican candidates argue they’re trying to steal the election.

The allegations focus on Palm Beach and Broward counties, where local judges found officials violated transparency laws.

However, The Associated Press reported on Monday that a Florida judge said there was no evidence that something was amiss in Broward County’s vote counting.
