CLEVELAND, Tenn. (AP) - Authorities are searching for a Tennessee inmate who escaped from custody while at a hospital.

News outlets cited a statement from the Bradley County Sheriff’s Department that says 31-year-old Keith McGill was taken to Tennova Healthcare Monday evening for treatment and fled the premises. The statement says McGill is a white male who stands 6-foot-1, weighs 165 pounds and has brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing an orange jumpsuit.

Authorities say he was in custody on charges of aggravated burglary and theft and that anyone with information on his current location should call 911.
