Chris Thompson’s unlucky injury history has continued this week, causing him to miss still another game.

The Washington Redskins running back will miss his fourth straight game with a rib injury when the team plays its Thanksgiving Day game against the Dallas Cowboys.

Thompson also missed two games in October while dealing with a knee issue in addition to his ribs. He had his 2017 season cut short with a broken leg.

Thompson was the only player the Redskins ruled “out” on Wednesday’s injury report. Wide receiver Jamison Crowder (ankle), running back Samaje Perine (calf), left tackle Trent Williams (thumb), right guard Tony Bergstrom (knee) and cornerback Quinton Dunbar (shin) are all questionable for Thursday.

Williams is also in danger of missing his fourth straight game after needing surgery on his thumb. On Tuesday, coach Jay Gruden said his injury situation is different than his teammates’ at this point.

“It’s just a matter of if he can feel comfortable gripping with that cast on,” Gruden said. “If he does, then I think he’ll go, but only time will tell.”

The Redskins also said that tackles Morgan Moses and Ty Nsekhe and defensive lineman Daron Payne fully practiced Wednesday. They will be ready to play against Dallas.

On the Cowboys‘ side of things, wide receiver Michael Gallup practiced with the team Wednesday after missing Monday’s and Tuesday’s practices to be with his family. Gallup learned Sunday that his brother died by suicide and he was excused from the team.

Cowboys linebacker Sean Lee (hamstring), wide receiver Tavon Austin (groin), tight end Geoff Swaim (wrist), center Adam Redmond (concussion) and defensive lineman David Irving (ankle) are out.
