Paul Manafort’s legal team told President Trump’s lawyers what the former Trump campaign chairman told special counsel investigators, ABC News reported Wednesday.

“They share with me the things that pertain to our part of the case,” Rudolph W.  Giuliani, Mr. Trump’s attorney, told the network.

Special counsel Robert Mueller and his team took Manafort back to court on Monday and accused him of violating his plea agreement by repeatedly lying to investigators. Manafort denies the allegations.

Mr. Giuliani also said the president is extremely upset about the recent legal trouble Manafort is facing from the Mueller team.

On Wednesday morning, the president railed against the Mueller probe for the third day in a row and likened the investigation to McCarthyism.
