EMERADO, N.D. (AP) - A moose was killed when it was struck by a sport utility vehicle on U.S. Highway 2 in Grand Forks County over the weekend.
The Highway Patrol says the animal was hit about 8:45 p.m. Sunday, about 3 miles west of Emerado.
The Devils Lake man driving the SUV escaped injury.
