MCKEESPORT, Pa. (AP) - Police say a man who had been shot in the head drove himself and another man shot in the head to a western Pennsylvania hospital.
Allegheny County homicide investigators say the two men arrived at McKeesport hospital shortly after 3:30 a.m. Saturday and were taken to local trauma hospitals.
County police say McKeesport police are “very familiar with” the 33-year-old driver and say he was “less than cooperative with investigators.” His head wound wasn’t life-threatening. His 22-year-old passenger was listed in critical condition.
Police say it’s unclear where the shooting occurred or why it happened, although shots were reported on Rankin Bridge and broken window glass and ballistic evidence consistent with a shooting were found there. Anyone who saw the victims’ pickup truck is asked to call investigators.
