OMAHA, Neb. (AP) - Registration opens later this month for next spring’s Nebraska Science Festival.

Teachers are encouraged to register their classes early for the 2019 student science expo being next April at the Strategic Air Command and Aerospace Museum in Ashland and at Omaha’s Durham Museum.

Registration opens Oct. 24 and is on a first-come, first-served basis. Teachers may register their classes online at www.nescifest.com .

Presented by the University of Nebraska Medical Center, the Nebraska Science Festival is a collaboration of organizations and individuals interested in the advancement of science literacy. Nearly 1,600 students participate.
