DALLAS, Ga. (AP) - A small airplane has crashed in Georgia, killing the pilot.

Paulding County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Ashley Henson tells news outlets that the single-engine plane crashed Saturday evening near the Bartow County line. The pilot was the only person on board.

Authorities did not immediately identify the crash victim.
