WESTBROOK, Conn. (AP) - Connecticut State Police say a woman has been killed in a rollover crash in Interstate 95.

Authorities say the Jeep the woman was riding in swerved to the left, rolled over and struck a jersey barrier in Westbrook at about 7:30 p.m. Sunday.

The woman, 48-year-old Angela Ford, of Clinton, died at the scene. The driver, 48-year-old Kyle Ford, was hospitalized.

Police say they don’t know why the Jeep swerved.

The highway was shut down for several hours as police investigated.

Anyone with information on the crash is asked to contact state police.
