MARBLE HILL, Mo. (AP) - A fire at a mobile home in southeastern Missouri has killed a man and his dog.
The Southeast Missourian reports that 57-year-old Rick Morrison died in the fire that broke out around 2:30 a.m. Thursday near the small town of Marble Hill. A Chihuahua also died. No other people were in the home.
Fire Chief Calvin Troxell says investigators with the state fire marshal’s office have visited the scene in an effort to determine what caused the blaze.
