ST. LOUIS (AP) - Police say a man and woman have been killed and seven people, including six children, have been injured in a head-on crash in St. Louis’ Riverview neighborhood.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch says the crash happened Friday morning when a southbound sport utility vehicle crossed a median and hit a roadside assistance vehicle head-on.
Police say the driver of the roadside assistance vehicle, 63-year-old Rasim Mustedanagic, and a woman who was a passenger in the SUV died at the scene.
The man driving the SUV and six children traveling with him were all taken to hospitals. The man and an 11-year-old girl were listed in critical condition. The other children were listed in stable condition.
The names of those in the SUV had not been released by midday Saturday.
