MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (AP) - Authorities say a pilot was injured when his small plane crashed in central Tennessee.
News outlets report the plane crashed into trees and brush behind an apartment complex Sunday in Murfreesboro.
The fire department in Murfreesboro says the 79-year-old pilot was pulled from the plane and taken to a hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Federal investigators are trying to determine the cause of the crash.
