ELKO, Nev. (AP) - A 31-year-old Elko woman has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for an armed robbery at a sandwich shop.

Erika Lozano was found guilty earlier of robbery with the use of a deadly weapon at a Port of Subs in Elko last October.

The Elko Daily Free Press reports Judge Al Kacin sentenced her to prison last week and ordered her to pay $500 restitution.

Police say Lozano and an unidentified suspect were wearing masks when they entered Port of Subs with a firearm, demanded money and fled with an undetermined amount of cash.

Lozano was arrested two months later at a local casino and charged with four felony counts related to the holdup, including conspiracy to commit robbery, assault with a deadly weapon and grand larceny.

She initially pleaded not guilty but later changed her plea.
