Hankinson man killed in crash with farm equipment identified

HANKINSON, N.D. (AP) - Authorities have identified a Hankinson man who died after crashing his car into farm equipment on a Richland County road.

The Highway Patrol says 59-year-old Jeffrey Schiltz struck a disc plow being pulled by a tractor the night of Oct. 23 north of Hankinson.

Schiltz was pronounced dead at the scene. The 18-year-old man driving the tractor wasn’t hurt.
