Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said Friday afternoon the push to confirm Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s Supreme Court nomination is looking good.

After leaving a lunch that included Sen. Susan Collins, Mr. McConnell said, “We’re heading toward a final vote tomorrow, and I’m optimistic.”

Ms. Collins is one of two remaining undecided votes that will determine if Judge Kavanaugh’s nomination succeeds or fails. The final vote is scheduled for Saturday.

The Republican senator from Maine will announce her decision on the confirmation vote Friday afternoon.

Democrat Sen. Joe Manchin is also being eyed as a potential yes vote for the nominee after he broke with his party on the cloture vote Friday morning.

The White House is also confident that their nominee will be confirmed.
