VAN BUREN, N.Y. (AP) - A central New York food distributor plans to expand its warehouse and distribution center and add nearly 150 jobs.

The Post-Standard of Syracuse reports G&C Food Distributors and Brokers plans to spend $22 million to expand its facility in the Onondaga County town of Van Buren, just west of Syracuse.

The plans call for adding a 106,000 square feet to the nearly 330,000-square-foot complex where more than 400 people currently work. Company officials say the expansion will add another 149 jobs.

G&C ships food from the warehouse to food service and retail customers as far away as Florida, Wisconsin.
