ASHBURN — Shawn Lauvao missed practice Wednesday with a calf injury, and coach Jay Gruden said the left guard could miss some time because of it.

Gruden listed Lauvao as “day-to-day,” but acknowledged that Lauvao could miss games. If that were to happen, Gruden said the Redskins would move center Chase Roullier to Lauvao’s spot and start Tony Bergstrom at center.

Washington did the same when guard Brandon Scherff briefly exited Sunday’s game against the Colts with a knee injury.

“I don’t think it’s long-term,” Gruden said of Lauvao’s injury. “I think short term. How short I don’t know. It’s not [injured reserve] candidate, no.”

Four of the five starters along the offensive line were listed on the team’s injury report for Sunday’s matchup against the Green Bay Packers.

Besides Lauvao, Scherff and tackle Trent Williams were limited with knee injuries. Right tackle Morgan Moses is also nursing a knee injury, but he fully practiced.
