Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and President Trump are scheduled for a showdown Thursday at the White House amid intensifying reports that the deputy AG will be ousted at the meeting.
“We’ll be determining what’s going on,” Mr. Trump told reporters Monday. “We want to have transparency, we want to have openness, and I look forward to meeting with Rod at that time.”
He said he had spoken with his embattled deputy attorney general Monday by phone.
