GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities say a suspect is in custody in connection with a fatal shooting outside a bar in Glendale last weekend.
Glendale police say 20-year-old Eduardo Lugo-Ramos was arrested Tuesday night and booked into jail on suspicion of second-degree murder and misconduct involving weapons.
They say there was a brief interaction between Lugo-Ramos and 27-year-old Jorge “Daniel” Marmolejo-Jurado in the parking lot of a bar around 2:30 a.m. Saturday.
Police say authorities attempted life-saving measures on Marmolejo-Jurado, but he died at the scene.
It was unclear Wednesday if Lugo-Ramos has a lawyer yet who can speak on his behalf.
