OLYMPIA, Wash. (AP) - Police in Washington state say they seized $1.16 million worth of narcotics in separate weekend arrests.

The Olympian reported Monday that the Thurston County narcotics tasks force announced seizures of methamphetamine, heroin and cocaine.

Police say two seizures took place April 13.

Police say a man was arrested in Tumwater on suspicion of unlawful possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver heroin and that they seized 2 kilograms (about 4 pounds) of heroin valued at $440,000.

Authorities say two men were taken into custody in Olympia on suspicion of unlawful possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver methamphetamine and cocaine.



Police say that seizure netted 4 kilograms (about 9 pounds) of methamphetamine valued at $600,000 and 1 kilogram (about 2 pounds) of cocaine valued at $125,000.
