Man’s body found in lot near North Carolina shopping center

GOLDSBORO, N.C. (AP) - Police in North Carolina say a man’s body has been found in a lot adjacent to a shopping center.

Goldsboro police tell news outlets that the unidentified body was found in a metal trash bin in a lot near Berkeley Plaza on Monday.

Investigators don’t know how the many died.

The man’s body has been sent to the Office of the State Medical Examiner for an autopsy.
