TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) - Police officers in an Alabama city shot and killed two of four dogs that were attacking a woman.

Tuscaloosa police Lt. Teena Richardson tells The Tuscaloosa News that the woman was attacked by the pit bulls early Monday. She says the woman was treated at DCH Regional Medical Center for injuries that were not life-threatening.

Officers killed two of the dogs and wounded a third. The fourth dog escaped.



Police are trying to find the dogs’ owners.
