Authorities identify woman who died in crash near Tappen

TAPPEN, N.D. (AP) - Authorities have identified a 38-year-old woman who died in a one-vehicle rollover on Interstate 94 north of Tappen.

The Highway Patrol says Elizabeth Monger, of Strasburg, died in the crash that happened around 7:30 a.m. Wednesday. She was travelling east on the highway when she entered the median, steered back to the roadway and lost control. The vehicle rolled and came to rest in the south ditch.

The patrol says Monger was ejected from the vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
