The Washington Redskins chose Ohio State quarterback Dwayne Haskins No. 15 overall in the NFL draft, likely cementing their quarterback of the future.

But not everybody in the Redskins‘ orbit was happy with the choice.

Former Redskins tight end and current radio commentator Chris Cooley said he didn’t love — or even like — the pick. But he said he’ll keep an open mind on Haskins proving him wrong.



Reports before the draft noted the Redskins‘ front office was split over Haskins, as noted by podcaster and former radio commentator Kevin Sheehan after the pick was solidified.

Grant Paulsen of 106.7 The Fan was more positive about the selection, noting what it meant off the field as well as on it:
