OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) - Authorities say an off-duty Oakland police officer was stabbed in Oakland and the attacker has been arrested.
Oakland Police spokeswoman Officer Johnna Watson says the officer was walking to their car Thursday evening when a suspect approached and stabbed the officer.
She says the officer is at a hospital in stable condition.
Police did not release any other details or give the gender of the officer until their family is notified.
