FLORENCE, Ariz. (AP) - An Arizona man who was found in his ex-wife’s attic has pleaded guilty to aggravated harassment and trespassing and agreed to spend two years in prison.
The Casa Grande Dispatch reports that Mojarro-Parra of Maricopa had been barred from visiting the home after a restraining order was filed against him and that prosecutors agreed to drop charges of burglary and theft.
Police had said after Mojarro-Parra was arrested March 7 that there were indications that someone was attempting to install surveillance cameras inside the victim’s home.
Investigators also wrote that Mojarro-Parra “has shown extreme stalking behaviors and went to extremes to maintain control over his ex-wife and children.”
Mojarro-Parra pleaded guilty Friday in Pinal County Superior Court. He remains jailed pending sentencing on May 17.
