YORK, Neb. (AP) - The York County Problem-Solving Court will hold graduation ceremonies in the coming weeks inside the York County Courthouse.
The ceremonies will be held May 13 and June 10. The ceremonies mark the completion for participants of an intensive comprehensive drug treatment program that includes close supervision and full accountability. The special court is a minimum 18-month program where participants learn the skills to live a successful life free from drugs and alcohol.
Judge Jim Doyle of Lexington serves as chairman of the Nebraska Supreme Court Committee on Problem-Solving Courts. He says drug and problem-solving courts have saved taxpayers thousands of dollars and changed the lives of participants for the better.
