CASSELTON, N.D. (AP) - Fire has destroyed a large garage at a Casselton business.

The blaze at Gordy’s Service Center just off Interstate 94 was reported shortly before 5:30 a.m. Monday. Fire Chief Tim McLean says the multi-bay steel building was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived.

KFGO radio reports the flames could be seen for several miles.

Fire departments from Casselton, Mapleton, Buffalo and West Fargo responded. The cause of the fire is under investigation. No one was hurt in the fire, though a firefighter was taken to a Fargo hospital for treatment of minor injuries he suffered when he tripped and fell at the fire hall as he prepared to head to the scene.

The garage is separate from Gordy’s convenience store and fast food restaurant.
