NEW ORLEANS (AP) - Police in New Orleans say they plan to arrest two women after another woman was slashed with a box cutter.
NOLA.com/The Times-Picayune reports that the violence stemmed from an argument involving the three women on Saturday afternoon in New Orleans East.
Police say one of the suspects - a 22-year-old woman - began to punch the 36-year-old victim.
Police say an 18-year-old suspect then wielded a box cutter and cut the victim more than once.
The wounded woman was taken to a local hospital. Police haven’t provided details on her injuries.
Police say the 18-year-old is being sought on charges of attempted second-degree murder and aggravated assault. The other suspect faces a charge of simple battery.
