FLORISSANT, Mo. (AP) - Authorities say a St. Louis County man charged in two sexual assaults may be responsible for other crimes.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that 19-year-old Temetrius Cross was charged Thursday with nine felonies, including sodomy and rape.

Charging documents say one of the women was robbed and sexually assaulted on March 2 before escaping as Cross attempted to force her into the trunk of her own car. The other woman said she was forced into her own car at gunpoint early Tuesday, ordered to withdraw money from an ATM and then assaulted.

The documents say Cross confessed. Florissant police say they are working with other departments and that at least one has found “similar crimes.”

Bond is set at $250,000. No attorney is listed for him in online court records.
