LAS VEGAS (AP) - Police in Las Vegas say a motorcyclist has died after a collision with a minivan.

Officers from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department responded to a crash at the edge of the east valley about 3 p.m. Saturday.

They say it appears a car pulled out from a private drive causing the motorcyclist to hit the van.

Police didn’t immediately release the name of the 26-year-old man from Henderson who was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead.

They say the 62-year-old driver of the car didn’t show any signs of being impaired.
