YORK, Pa. (AP) - Authorities say two people found dead in a southern Pennsylvania home appear to have died in a murder-suicide.
Northern York County Regional Police went to the Conewago Township home around 3:45 p.m. Wednesday for a reported domestic incident. Officers found a 40-year-old woman inside the home with multiple gunshot wounds to her body and a 50-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the head.
The names of the two people were not released. Authorities believe the man shot the woman and then shot himself, but it’s still not clear what sparked the shootings.
A handgun was recovered from the home.
It does not appear that anyone else was in the home when the shootings occurred.
