Sylvester Stallone gave fans what they wanted on Tuesday by releasing an action-packed trailer for “Rambo: Last Blood.”

“Brand new Teaser!” the 73-year-old Hollywood icon announced to more than 10 million Instagram followers. “I am re-posting this full-frame! It gets better the 2nd time. ‘They started it. I will end it,’ Rambo said.”

Footage from the Lionsgate film billed as the character’s “final mission” features flashbacks to Mr. Stallone’s previous Rambo movies and the character’s battle with a Mexican cartel.

“I finally came home to defend the only family I’ve ever known,” the character says in a voiceover regarding his missing niece. “All she’s got is me. She’s coming home. You started this. I’ll end it. I’m gonna tear you apart.’ This is what it feels like.”

The Adrian Grunberg-directed film hits theaters Sept. 20 and also stars Sergio Peris-Mencheta, Yvette Monreal, and Paz Vega.
