PHILADELPHIA (AP) - A man getting out of his car near his Philadelphia home was wounded in a drive-by shooting that left his vehicle riddled with bullets.
But it’s not yet known what sparked the shooting, which occurred around 11:20 p.m. Thursday.
Police say a vehicle pulled up next to the 20-year-old victim and at least one person inside started shooting. The victim was hit five times in the back and lower extremities, but he was able to escape by climbing out of the passenger side.
The other vehicle then fled the scene.
The wounded man remains hospitalized in stable condition. His name has not been released.
