HOLYOKE, Mass. (AP) - The man shot to death in Holyoke over the weekend has been identified as an Amherst man.
The Hampden district attorney’s office announced Monday that the victim of Saturday night’s shooting was 31-year-old Andrew Musgrave.
Officers on patrol at about 11:30 p.m. reported hearing gunshots just before the first 911 call came in to the department.
Musgrave was found suffering from a gunshot wound outside.
He was taken to Baystate Medical Center in Springfield where he was pronounced dead.
The homicide remains under investigation. There was no word on a possible motive and no arrests were announced.
The death was the city’s fourth homicide in three months.
