Authorities say a shooter opened fire on a car along a Philadelphia street, leaving a woman and a young boy wounded.

It’s not yet known what sparked the shooting shortly after 10 p.m. Wednesday.

Authorities say the 24-year-old woman was shot in the shoulder and knee, while the 7-year-old boy was shot in the foot. The woman initially drove to a nearby home, and a relative later drove both victims to a hospital.

The names of the victims have not been released. Authorities have not said if they are related.

Authorities say it’s not clear if the shooter targeted the woman or if it was a random shooting. No arrests have been made.
