ORO VALLEY, Ariz. (AP) - Oro Valley police are investigating a woman’s suspicious death inside a home where two young children were present at the time.

A Police Department statement released Wednesday said officers found the dead woman and the two children while responding Tuesday to an unspecified “call for service.”

No identities were released, but police Sgt. Carmen Trevizo told The Associated Press that she couldn’t provide specifics on the call that prompted the police response except to say that neither of the children made the call.

Trevizo also said the kids were unharmed.

The statement said no arrests have been made and that police are working with the Pima County medical examiner’s office and awaiting further forensic evidence.

Police say there’s no danger to the public.

Oro Valley is a Tucson suburb.
