DOVER, Del. (AP) - The state Supreme Court has rejected an appeal by a man serving life in prison for the murder-for-hire killings of a Delaware couple.
Aaron Thompson argued that prosecutors misrepresented evidence and improperly tried to get jurors to sympathize with co-defendant and prosecution witness Joshua Bey. Thompson also argued that a statement that Bey, a drug dealer and former FBI informant, gave to police should not have been allowed into evidence.
The Supreme Court rejected those arguments on Thursday.

Thompson and Bey were among four men charged in the 2013 deaths of Joseph and Olga Connell. Prosecutors say Joseph Connell’s former business partner, Christopher Rivers, who is serving life in prison, planned the killings to collect on an insurance policy.
Bey and another man, Dominique Benson, were convicted of conspiracy.
