JAFFREY, N.H. (AP) - A Jaffrey man faces multiple charges after police say he led them on chase and crashed his car into a house.

Police say a car driven by 29-year-old Ryan Parent took out a row of hedges before slamming into the home Thursday night after a brief chase. Tricia Rosmus told WMUR-TV said her fiance was sitting in the living room and was thrown off the couch when the car hit the building, but he and everyone else in the house was unhurt.

Parent, who was hospitalized with serious injuries, was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated and other charges. It was unknown Saturday whether he has an attorney.
