MILNOR, N.D. (AP) - Investigators believe a newly-installed furnace may have caused an explosion that leveled a home in southeastern North Dakota.
Sargent County Sheriff Travis Paeper tells KFGO radio that the home in Milnor was vacant when the explosion happened about 10:10 a.m. Saturday. The home was destroyed. He says a small fire caused by the blast was quickly extinguished.
Paeper says people were inside the home just a few hours before the blast.
