POLSON, Mont. (AP) - Prosecutors have dropped two of three methamphetamine-related charges against a northwest Montana school bus driver and owner.
The Missoulian reported Friday that Scott William Johnson of St. Ignatius still faces a charge of criminal possession of dangerous drugs, but prosecutors dropped charges of drug distribution and endangering children’s welfare.
Johnson pleaded not guilty.

The Lake County Sheriff’s Department said an informant told deputies Johnson allegedly sold meth and smoked it on school buses and in a bus garage. Johnson was arrested in May after a deputy said he witnessed Johnson buying meth and found the drug in Johnson’s car.
Johnson worked with Johnson Transportation, which had a contract with the St. Ignatius public school district. The district rescinded the contract and went with another operator.
