SPRINGFIELD, Vt. (AP) - Police say an 80-year-old man was killed when his logging skidder overturned in Springfield.
WCAX-TV reports that passing snowmobilers spotted the overturned skidder Friday night and found a man pinned underneath. The victim was identified as Guy Lariviere.
Police said the man may have been thrown from the skidder when it overturned and pinned him in a stream.
The accident remains under investigation.
