West Virginia Supreme Court to hear arguments at law school

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) - West Virginia’s Supreme Court is going on the road to West Virginia University, where it will hear arguments in three cases.

The arguments are set to begin at 10 a.m. March 5 at the Marlyn E. Lugar Courtroom at the College of Law. The event is free and open to the public. Doors open at 9 a.m., and the proceedings will be webcast .

The Supreme Court usually hears arguments at the law school once each spring. Justices Tim Armstead, John Hutchison and Margaret Workman are graduates of the school.

The court will reconvene in the afternoon to judge the finals of Baker Cup Moot Court appellate advocacy competition.
