SOUTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. (AP) - A Rhode Island woman convicted of causing a fatal crash nearly 10 years ago is heading back to prison for violating her probation for the second time.
A judge told 35-year-old Laura Reale on Monday she was “undeserving of anything less” after sentencing her to nearly two additional years in prison.
Reale previously served five years and five months behind bars for the 2010 crash that killed 27-year-old Colin Foote while he was riding his motorcycle near his Charlestown home.

The judge says the Westerly woman first violated her probation in 2016 after she acknowledged using drugs and submitting someone else’s urine samples for testing.
Police arrested her for possession of a controlled substance on Feb. 15.
That case is pending.
