WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - Two teens whose murder trial in the shooting of a 19-year-old Delaware woman ended in mistrial are facing sentencing after pleading guilty to lesser charges.
Deonta Carney and Abdullah Brown, both 18, were to be sentenced Wednesday for the killing of Kenshall “KeKe” Anderson in 2016.
Carney pleaded guilty last month to criminally negligent homicide, while Brown pleaded guilty to manslaughter and a weapons charge.

Brown and Carney were both 16 when Anderson was struck by bullets in a drive-by shooting near her home in Wilmington. Authorities have said they don’t believe Anderson was targeted.
Carney and Brown were tried for murder, but a judge declared a mistrial last year after a juror failed to show up for deliberations.
