BLUEFIELD, Va. (AP) - Officials say the reward in the case of a West Virginia man wanted in the shooting of a Virginia police officer has been raised to $25,000.
The U.S. Marshals Service announced a $5,000 increase in a statement on Thursday.
Authorities say that 25-year-old Donquale Gray is wanted for attempted capital murder of a police officer.

Police say Gray shot a Bluefield, Virginia, police officer during a Feb. 16 traffic stop. Officers returned fire and the car was found abandoned hours later in West Virginia. The wounded officer is recovering.
Police say that Gray may be hiding out in the Lynchburg or Roanoke areas of southwestern Virginia. Police say Gray has been living in Bluefield, West Virginia, but he’s originally from Chicago.
